So your Windows 10 computer is connected to the WiFi but there is no internet?

Well, this a common issue which a Windows user has experienced at least once their lifetime.

And to tackle this problem, today we will be showing you not one but three different methods through which you can fix this issue where you are connected to the WiFi but there is no internet.

Fix 1: Disabled WiFi Adapter

This is a common problem, where Windows users do not get any WiFi connection just because they have mistakenly disabled their WiFi adapter.

And to tackle this issue, simply go through the above steps…

Firstly press your Windows key and then head over to your search box. And then, click on the little gear icon (settings).

And then, you will open up a new tab. From there you will click on this option which says “Network & Internet”.

After that, you will see this option which called “Status” on your right sidebar. All you do now is simply click on that and then click on this option which says “Change adapter options”.

Once that is done, you will then see the list of adapter options which are available in your PC. And there you will see your “WiFi adapter” which is marked as “Disabled”. All you do now is simply right click on that and then click on “Enable”.

Fix 2: Windows updates

Often times, when people upgrade to the Windows 10 operating system, they see various problems with their WiFi connection not working.

And to fix this issue, all you do is update your Windows 10 operating system all over again.

To do so, just go through the above steps…

Firstly, head over to your search box and then type in “Windows update settings”.

Then, all you do now is click on this option which says “Restart”. And your Windows 10 operating system will update all over again.

Fix 3: Update your WiFi drivers

To implement this method, you will be needing your ethernet connection. Firstly you will have to connect your computer to your ethernet cable to get internet access.

Once your PC is connected to the ethernet, simply go to your search box and type in “Device Manager” and then click on this option.

Then, you will open up a new tab. Click on the drop down which says “network adapters”.

From there, you will find your WiFi adapter. All you do now is right click on it and then click on “Update driver”.

And then, click on this option which says “Search automatically for updated driver software”.

After that, your WiFi drivers will be updated and the best drivers are going to be installed.
